Lillie Stowe Patterson

Mrs. Lillie Stowe Patterson, age 80, of 2341 Williams Bridge Road, Toccoa, Georgia, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at the residence.

A daughter of the late William Adger and Matilda Bell Stowe, she was born August 20, 1933 in Hart County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia. She retired from Coats and Clark, was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and was an avid gardener, a wonderful mom and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Diane Cochran of Toccoa; grandchildren, Allen and Cindy Scott and Amanda Westmoreland, five great-grandchildren; sister, Rosa Lee Rice of Hartwell, Georgia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 14, 2 O'clock PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Harris Pressley and the Reverend Ken Jackson officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Joe Dan Gulley, Stan Rice, Tim Rice, Dakota Scott, Rocky Lane and Mike Farmer.

The family will be at the home on Williams Bridge Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 PM to 6 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Lillie Stowe Patterson.
