Ralph Gutierrez

Ralph Gutierrez, 84, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday November 10, 2013 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a brief illness.

Born May 7, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Pilar and Lucy Gutierrez, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 14 years. Mr. Gutierrez retired as a driver for Express Freight Lines after over 20 years of service. After his retirement he was employed by Wal-Mart for 5 years. He was a member of the Dawsonville United Methodist Church and was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Tiffany Varana; son, Dave DeBusk; sisters, Molly, Isabelle, Fina; and brothers, Lawrence and Tony.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Sharon Gutierrez, Dawsonville; children, Marty Gutierrez, Warren, MI, Cindy and Craig Lippert, Warren, MI, Daniel Gutierrez, Dawsonville, Kathy and John Kaiser, Florida, Bobbi and Sean Smith, Dawsonville, Shelly Bonnette, Dawsonville; twenty grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday November 14, 2013 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sean Smith will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 until 2 at the funeral home.
