Manuel Ortiz-Ramirez

Manuel Ortiz-Ramirez, age 56, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church with Father William Canales officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, November 11, 2013 from 5pm-9pm at the funeral home.


Mr. Ortiz was born April 30, 1957 in Coahuila, Mexico to Matilde Ortiz and Julia Ramirez. He was employed with Fieldale Poultry and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He was known as "Papu" by all his grandchildren.


Mr. Ortiz is survived by his wife, Estela Ortiz of Gainesville, son, Josue Manuel Ortiz of Gainesville, daughters, Yulyanna Ortiz and Deyssy Ortiz, both of Gainesville and 5 grandchildren.
