Setsu (Sue) Kanamaki Shepherd

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Setsu (Sue) Kanamaki Shepherd, 84, of Jefferson, who passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013.

Mrs. Shepherd was born in Tokyo, Japan. Mrs. Shepherd was a homemaker and attended Maysville Baptist Church. Mrs. Shepherd was preceded in death by her parents, Tatsu and Sote Kanamaki.

Survivors include her husband, John T. Shepherd, Sr., of Jefferson, Ga., son, John T. Shepherd, Jr., Rutledge, Ga., daughter, Vickie Shepherd, Rutledge, Ga., grandchildren, Shawn Shepherd, Rutledge, Ga., Briana Shepherd, Forsyth, Ga., and great grandchild, Chole Shepherd, Rutledge, Ga.

Funeral Services will be Sunday November 10, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 9, 2013 at Evans Funeral Home at 3:00.
