Robbie J. Stevens

Mrs. Robbie J. Stevens, 79, of Murrayville, Ga. passed away Tuesday November 5, 2013 at her residence.

Born in Murrayville, she lived in Hall County and Lumpkin County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Rae Peck Sims. She worked for Paul Smith Cleaners for a number of years. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Stevens; sister, Lucille Gooch; brothers, Ralph Sims, Kenneth Sims and Brantley Sims.

Mrs. Stevens is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Donald and Annette Stevens of Toccoa, Dennis and Aundrea Stevens of Gainesville, Doug and Gail Stevens of Murrayville; daughters and sons in law, Barbara and David Cash of Cleveland, Cheryl and Ricky Simmons of Gainesville; daughter, Kathy Stevens of Murrayville; grandchildren, Mandy and Johnny Brock, Brian Stevens, Alex Stevens, Hannah and Trey Garcia, Chris Stevens, Adam Cash, Jason and Julie Simmons; great grandchildren, Patrick and Austin, Nolan and Ryan, Branson and Sadie; sisters, Annie Edwards of Murrayville, Margaret Sims of Murrayville, Mary Sims of Murrayville; sister in law, Susie Sims of Sumter, S.C., and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 7, 2013, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Rev. Stephen Adams and Rev. Charles Buice will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday November 6, 2103 from -2-4 p.m. and again from 6-9 p.m.
