Carolyn Grace Gragg Wood

Funeral services for Carolyn Grace Gragg Wood, age 68, of Mt. Airy, will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at 6:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Mrs. Wood died on November 4, 2013 at her residence.

Born on February 10, 1945 in Rabun County, Mrs. Wood was the daughter of the late Edmon James and Beulah Estella Brock Gragg. She was a homemaker and a member of Level Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her husband Gary Wood and son Wayne Wood.

Survivors include sons Doug Wood of Baldwin and Larry Wood of Lawrenceville, brothers Ricky Gragg of Alto and Tony Gragg of Homer, sisters Rosa Lee Gailey of Lula, Louise Wilbanks of Homer, Willene Garner of Cleveland, Shirley Bradshaw of Mt. Airy, Louanne Gardiner of Maysville, Rachel Jiminez of Mt. Airy, and Dottie Morris of Alto, as well as five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
