Roger Wesley Sears

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Roger Wesley Sears, age 52 of Commerce, who passed away on Tuesday October 29th, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Sears was the son of Mary Crumley Sears of Commerce and the late Roger Lee Sears. Survivors along with his mother include his sons Brandon (Brooke) Sears of Athens and Chad (Jessica) Sears of Commerce; daughter Lauren (Brandon) Buffington of Commerce; brothers Michael and Paul Sears both of Commerce; sister Sybil Cornell of Commerce; grandchildren Tori, Savannah, Blayne, Braison, Weston, Jonathan, Mary Bella and Baby Lannie; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Mr. Sears was preceded in death by a brother Johnny Sears.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 31st, 2013 from 6 PM until 8 PM. Services will be held Friday, November 1st in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home at 11 AM with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Grey Hill Cemetery.
