Roy Lee Griffin, Jr.,

Mr. Roy Lee Griffin, Jr., age 54 of 442 Fowlertown Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at his residence.

A son of Jean Fowler Griffin and the late Roy Lee Griffin, Sr. he was born November 13, 1958 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived a greater part of his life. He was a retired construction worker and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his mother, Jean Fowler Griffin of Toccoa; wife of the home, Karen Payne Griffin; three daughters and sons-in-law, April Griffin and Travis Long and Jennifer and D.J. Canady both of Toccoa, Keri Griffin of Portland, Maine; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Jennifer Griffin of Toccoa; ten grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Cindy Griffin and James and Marcine Griffin both of Toccoa; sisters and brother-in-law, Cathy Ray, Karen Setren and Elise and Tony Wilbanks all of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 25, 2 O'clock PM at Zebulon Baptist Church with the Reverend John Chambers and the Reverend Roger Loggins officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, James Griffin, Jr., Anthony Charles, Brandon Griffin, Travis Long, Randy Edmonds and Casey McIntyre.

The family will be at the home on Fowlertown Road and will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will follow in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mr. Roy Lee Griffin, Jr.
