Martha Ward

Martha Yvonne Ward, age 75 of Dawsonville, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Northside Hospital.

Mrs. Ward was born in Atlanta Georgia the daughter of the late Grady Daniel Luck and Ann Marie Maddox Luck. She was a retired bookkeeper. Mrs. Ward was a woman with a heart full of love for her family and she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include son and daughter in law, Michael and Sandra Mullis, Rincon; daughters and sons in law, Tracie and Virgil Stanfield, Tina and Vashawn Vernon, all of Dawsonville; son and daughter in law, Travis and Barbara Ward, Williamson; daughter, Terri Meeks, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Jessica Hart, Joey Miller, Melissa Motte, Mandy Power, Robert Meeks, Tony Meeks, Travis Miller, Holley Vernon, Chastity Stewart, Dave Cannon, Tessie Glover, Darrell Glover, Robby Mullis, Randy Mullis, Cristi Hutchings, Michael Mullis Jr.; 25 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday October 25, 2013 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Pastor Sam Nissen will officiate. Interment will be in Union Grove Congregational Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
