Tom McCollum

Tom McCollum, age 70, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Mary McCollum. He is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Betsy Griffith, Suwanee, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Tony and Amy McCollum, Flowery Branch, GA and Todd McCollum, Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Zachary McCollum, Joshua McCollum, Matthew McCollum and Mary McCollum; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lowell and Lorna McCollum, Columbus, OH and J.R. and Mary McCollum, Duluth, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Don Brady, Franklin Springs, GA; step sister, Anna Williams, Centre, AL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. McCollum was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother with a great sense of humor. He attended Fusion Church. He was retired from American Can Company in Morrow, GA after thirty years of service.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Tony McCollum officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Tom McCollum.
