Cornelia Carolyn Jones

Ms. Cornelia Carolyn Jones age 79 of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday October 15, 2013 at her residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday October 17, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Ms. Jones was born on December 16, 1933 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Chambers Hampton Jones and Eva Flemings Jones. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Jones is survived by her nephew and wife, Mike and Arlene Hall of Gainesville, great nephew and wife, Phillip and Vanity Hall of Gainesville, great niece, Melissa Rutledge, great niece and husband, Tracy and Eddie Coleman, great niece and husband, Jennifer and Scott Baugh, great niece and husband, Connie and Lamar Schandera, great nephew and wife, Chad and Cheryl Hall, and great nephew, Joseph Potts, and many great-great nieces and nephews.
