Dawn Bathewell Burton, age 52 of Dothan, AL, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013.

Ms. Burton was born April 1, 1961 in Gainesville, GA to Latrelle Simmons and the late Eugene Burton. She was self-employed.

Survivors include her sons, Dustin Tomlin, Cleveland, GA; Shawn Burton, Dothan, AL; Shelby Fertal, Dothan, AL; mother, Latrelle Simmons, Cleveland, GA; brother, Mike Burton, Dothan, AL; Doug Burton, Clarkesville, GA; grandson, Lucas Tomlin, Cleveland, GA.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mossy Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
