Louise O. Wofford

Mrs. Louise O. Wofford, age 87 of Commerce died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Northridge Health and Rehab. Mrs. Wofford was born in Commerce to the late, James M. and Ella King Owenby. Mrs. Wofford was retired from Commerce Sportswear. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wofford was also preceded in death by her husband, John C. Wofford, and daughters, Jane B. Watson and Elaine Rucker.

Mrs. Wofford is survived by her daughters, Trell Wilson and Lou Ann David both of Commerce, Vester Hardman of Athens, and Alice Colquitt of Lexington; sons, Clay Wofford of Commerce, Curtis Wofford of Clayton, and Jimmy Bray of Commerce; sisters, Sally O. Moore and Sue O. Kent both of Maysville; 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday, October 14 at 2:30 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Dr. Carlton Allen officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 6-8 PM.
