Walter Gary Moody

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Walter Gary Moody, age 62, of Gainesville, GA, who passed away on October 5, 2013. Mr. Moody was born in Chamblee, GA the third son to Mrs. Nellie Hall of Tioga, TX and the late Walter Rayful Moody. Walter Gary Moody was a carpenter by trade. He spent a lifetime constructing beautiful structures such as churches, offices, restaurants, condominium complexes, as well as buildings for the summer Olympics hosted by Atlanta. Mr. Moody was a member in Christ of the Chamblee Baptist Church and was a native and lifetime Georgia resident and always vowed he would never leave his beloved Georgia.

Survivors include his wife, Diann Moody, Clermont, children, Jenni Marjorie Mott, Woodstock, Walter Gary Moody II, Talmo, GA, James Alton Moody, Gainesville, GA, mother, Nellie Hall, Tioga, TX, sister, Annette Bridges, Tioga, TX, brothers, Jimmy Moody, Tioga, TX, and Danny Moody, Gunter TX.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Vaughn Howington Jr. officiating. The burial will follow in the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will held on Saturday from 12noon
