Walter Hodges Tonge, Jr.

Mr. Walter Hodges Tonge, Jr. age 71 of Jefferson died Wednesday, October 4, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Tonge is the son of Hilda Blackstock Tonge of Jefferson and the late, Walter H. Tonge, Sr. of Duluth. Mr. Tonge was a livestock farmer.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Tonge is also survived by his aunt, Martha Jo Blackstock of Jefferson; daughter, Suzy Perry (Kevin) of Jefferson; son, Andy Tonge (Martha) of Jefferson; grandchildren, Brooke Streetman, Kara Perry, Kadi Perry, Tan, TJ, and Drew Tonge all of Jefferson; wife, Betty Tonge of Jefferson; half-sister, Margie Ross; half-brother, Bill Tonge; as well as many cousins and special friends.

Mr. Tonge was cremated and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
