Darlene Roberts Hill

Darlene Roberts Hill, age 79 of Demorest, passed away Thursday, October 03, 2013.
Born in Habersham County on September 20, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Flossie Mae Lane Roberts. Mrs. Hill was retired from Piedmont Automotive and attended Cool Springs United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Thomas Hill.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Jeanene & Clark Sutton of Clarkesville; grandchildren and spouses, Melissa & McCray Filiatreau of Columbus, Justin & Molly Sutton of Clarkesville; granddaughters, Lindsey & Sydney Sutton of Clarkesville; three great-grandchildren, Annalise, Cadence and Marylane Filiatreau; sisters and brothers-in-law, Merle & Lewis Harper and Lane & Terry Trotter all of Demorest; brother and sister-in-law, Ted & Shirley Roberts of Clarkesville.

Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Chaplain John Reeser officiating. Interment will follow the service in Fairfield Baptist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in memory of Mrs. Hill, to United Hospice, 700 S. Enota Dr, Suite 202, Gainesville, GA 30501.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 pm Friday.
