Robert Gunnel Langston

Mr. Robert Gunnel Langston, age 57 of 3289 Highway 198, Carnesville, Georgia passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at Lower Oconee Community Hospital in Glenwood, Georgia.

A son of the late Erwin and Jeannette Payne Langston, he was born March 14, 1956 in Franklin County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was a truck driver, a passion that he had from when he was a little boy telling his mother that he wanted to be a truck driver, a former hardware store owner and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Deborah Mize Langston; son, Nathaniel Langston of Carnesville; brother-in-law, Daniel Mize of Toccoa; sister-in-law, Barbara Mize of Toccoa; aunt, Mary Payne of Carnesville; step-father, Elwood Mullins of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 2, 3 O'clock PM at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverend Wade Bridges officiating.

The family request that flowers be omitted. Memorials may be sent to the family at 3289 Highway 198, Carnesville, Georgia 30521 in his memory.

Interment will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mr. Robert G. Langston.
