William "Willie" Boyd Gearin

William ( Willie ) Boyd Gearin, 69, of Braselton passed away Saturday September 28, 2013 at his residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Hazelgreen officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Gearin was born July 22, 1944 in Braselton to the late Boyd and Louise Gearin he served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. After serving his time in the Army he was employed with Crystal Farms for 32 years and of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Diane Addison Gearin of Braselton, son and daughter-in-law Dean and Lisa Gearin of Lula, son Dennis Gearin of Braselton, granddaughters Celia Gearin of Maysville and Miranda Gearin of Maysville, grandson Jacob Gearin of NY, brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Debbie Gearin of Augusta sister and brother-in-law Marie and Ray Palmer of Braselton.
