Betty Patton Davis

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Betty Patton Davis, age 85, of Pendergrass, who passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013.



Mrs. Davis was born in Gainesville, Ga., a daughter of the late J.M. "Melvin" and Mary Whitsel Patton. Mrs. Davis retired from Dutch Quality House as a packaging supervisor with many years of service. Mrs. Davis was a member of Talmo Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Dub Davis, son, Sammy Davis, son in law Danny Glenn and several brothers and sister.



Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Davis Glenn, Jefferson, son and daughter in law, Ronnie and Kathy Davis, Gainesville, grandchildren Toby Davis, John Davis, Ryan Davis and Kayla Davis, 3 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.



Funeral Services will be held on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Spence officiating. The burial will follow in the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday September 27, 2013 from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
