Florene Morgan Black

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Florene Morgan Black, age 68, of Homer who passed away Wednesday September 25th at her residence. Ms. Black was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Terry and Alfred Morgan. Survivors include her son, Mitchell (Lisa) Black of Monroe; daughters Jean Black of Atlanta, Cynthia Watkins of Homer, and Debra Marlow of Homer; brother Randall Morgan of Winder; sisters Letitia (Brantley) Westbrook of Commerce; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Church in Homer on Saturday September 28th at 2 PM, the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday September 27th from 6 - 8 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
