Mrs. Ellen Southern Gaddis age 72 of Freeman Rd. Dawsonville, GA died Wednesday September 25,2013.
Mrs.Gaddis was born May 27,1941 in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Ed and Ella Weaver Southern. She worked as a Paraprofessional in the Dawson County School System and was a member of the River Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Edwin Southern.
Husband: Edd Gaddis of the home, Children; Connie and Shane Holt, Ellijay, Sherri and Mark Autry, Dawsonville, Brothers and sister-in-law, Everett and Glenda Southern, Euel and Judy Southern, Ermel and Betty Southern, Ruel and Alice Southern all of Ellijay,2 grandchildren Kayla and Amber Autry, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday September 28,2013 at 11:00am from the River Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Smith, Rev. Russell Hood and Rev. David Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 9pm and all day Friday until 9pm at the funeral home.
