Grace Wheeler Dollar

Mrs. Grace Wheeler Dollar, 87, of Suwanee, GA. passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Lula Davis Wheeler, brothers, Ralph Wheeler, Robert Wheeler, Roy Wheeler, sisters, Rosie Barrett, Willie Nell Kilgore, Dean Hill. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, H. Velvie Dollar, Suwanee, GA; son, Douglas and Carrey Logan Dollar, Bethlehem, GA; Grandson, Matthew Dollar, Loganville, GA; daughter-in-law, Becky Milligan Dollar, Loganville, GA; brother, Ray Wheeler, Buford, GA, sisters-in-law, Edna Wheeler, Buford, GA, Jane Wheeler, Buford, GA; Grace Nelson Dollar, Lawrenceville, GA; Barbara Nelson Watson, Winder, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Dollar was born May 6, 1926 in Auburn, GA. She received her education at Sugar Hill School and was retired from Suwanee Elementary School as a cafeteria worker. She was a charter member of Shadowbook Baptist Church and a member of At Large Adult Sunday School Class. The funeral service will be Friday, September 27, 2013 at 12:30 pm; at Shadowbrook Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Linkous officiating. The remains will be placed in state at 11:30 am. Interment will follow the funeral service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens; Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, then 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shadowbrook Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Grace Wheeler Dollar.
