Larry Dee Thompson

Larry Dee Thompson age 69 of Murrayville died Sept. 24, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness.

He was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Whitmire Thompson, Daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Jeff Smith, Sons Shane Thompson, Michael Thompson, Matthew Hutchenson and his wife Leslie. Twelve Grandchildren, two Great-Grandchildren. Sisters, Virginia and Claydene Elliott, Brothers-in-laws, Stanley and Gary Whitmire, Sisters, Peggy Ann and her husband Aubrey Sexton and Donna Whitmire, A number of nieces and nephews. Special friends, Lois Thomas, Ronald and Debo Couch. Larry loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.A memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday Sept. 27, 2013 in Solid Rock Baptist Church in White County. The Rev. Stephen Davis and Rev. Christopher Holtzclaw will officiate. Visitation with friends and family will be after the service at the church. Strickland Funeral Home, Clermont.
