Ann Mae Vollrath

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Ann Mae Vollrath, age 75 of Cleveland. Ms. Vollrath passed on September 20, 2013. A celebration of life for Ms. Vollrath is scheduled for 5:00 pm, Monday, September 23, 2013 in the funeral home chapel.

Ann was born March 19, 1938 in Lancaster, PA to the late William Leisey and Naomi Miller Leisey. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for some 27 years and had lived in Lancaster for most of her life before moving to White County in 1978. She is preceded in death by her daughter Karen Mae Herrin. Ann was known for her quick wit and her compassion for others. Survivors include her son Roger Vollrath, Cleveland; daughters Deborah Ann Simpson, Elberton, and Donna Reeves, Clermont; sister Naomi Ruth Greathouse, Cleveland as well as 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
