Carolyn Doster Cook

Carolyn Doster Cook, age 71, of Buford, GA passed away on September 16, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Myrtice Hall Doster, sister, Patricia Doster Hulsey Cash. She is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, William "Rick" Cook, Buford, GA, children, Joe and Katrina Cook, Winterville, GA; Marvin and Susan Sprouse, Austin, TX; Amber and Paul McGregor, Denver, CO; Lisa Sprouse, Atlanta, GA; Carleen and James McGuffey, Monument, CO; John Paul and Ashleigh Sprouse, Buford, GA; twelve grandchildren, nephew, Tim Hulsey, Gainesville, GA; several cousins. Mrs. Cook was born December 22, 1941 in Buford, GA. She was a 1960 graduate of Buford High School and a 1963 graduate of North Georgia College where she received her Bachelor's Degree. She was a retired medical tech from Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming, GA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, September 20, 2013.
