Beulah Hudson

Funeral services for Beulah Mae Shiver Hudson, age 89 of Clarkesville and formerly of Macon will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, Macon, GA. Rev. Brad Marchman will officiate with interment to follow the service in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Hudson died Sunday, September 15, 2013 with her loving family by her side.

Born on May 16, 1924 in Ty Ty, Georgia, Mrs. Hudson was the daughter of the late Joel Jackson Shiver and Cassie Willis Shiver. She was the fifteenth of sixteen children. Mrs. Hudson had worked at Happ Brothers Pants Factory, Keebler, Inc., and at H and H Upholstery with her husband Homer. She was a member of Log Cabin Baptist Church and was active in her Sunday School Class. She was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hudson is preceded in death by her husband Homer Harris Hudson and 14 siblings.

Survivors include son and daughter in law Steve and Denise Hudson of Clarkesville, GA, son Tom Hudson of Macon, GA, daughter Patricia Boyce of Missouri, sister Illa Baxley of Doerun, GA, grandchildren Cassie and husband Matt Head, Kristen Humphrys, Caitlin Hudson and fiancée Dustin Free, Brad and wife Amy Hudson, Heather and husband Chris Wallace, Lisa and husband Kevin Chenoweth, Jay and wife Samantha Boyce, Andrew and wife Amy Boyce, Dan Boyce, Rebecca Boyce, and James and wife Melissa Boyce, as well as 14 great grandchildren.
