Winston J. Haygood

Mr. Winston J. Haygood, Sr., age 68, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Doris Haygood, Decatur, GA.

He is survived by his children, daughter, Elaine Linser and husband, Mark, IA; son, Johnnie Haygood and wife, Luanne, FL, daughter, Stacey Jones and husband, Billy, GA; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Doug Middour, Newnan, GA; aunt, Mrs. C.E. Phillips, Eatonton, GA; and two nieces.

Mr. Haygood was born October 7, 1944 in Atlanta, GA He was a former U. S. Marine having served in Vietnam. He was retired from DeKalb County Fire Department and DeKalb Steele.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at East View Cemetery, 56 4th Avenue, S.E., Atlanta, GA 30317.
