Brady L. Sargent

Mr. Brady L. Sargent, age 74, passed away on September 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by stepson, Perry Sheets and parents Lon and Lizzie Staton Sargent. He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Jo Ann Cofer Sargent, Buford, GA; children, Wanda and Archie McClure, Flowery Branch, GA; Mike Sargent, LaGrange, GA; Ronnie Sargent, LaGrange, GA; stepchildren, Pamela Sheets, Buford, GA; Richard and Becky Sheets, Fairmont, GA; Phyllis and Jerry Silvers, Cumming, GA; daughter-in-law, Nellie Sue Sheets, Cumming, GA; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, sister, Christine Sheets, LaGrange, GA; sister-in-law Mary Cofer Adams, Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Sargent was born April 11, 1939 in Atlanta, GA. He worked for NAPA Auto Parts in Duluth, GA for seven years after retiring from Flowers Bakery as a delivery driver. He was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 in the Chapel of the Flanigan Funeral Home with the Reverend Billy Crocker and Reverend Lee Benton officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. Family will receive friends for visitation at 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, September 10, 2013.
