Virgil Curtis Barrett

Mr. Virgil Curtis Barrett, age 70, of Danielsville, GA died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Eastside Medical Center. Mr. Barrett was born in Nicholson to the late Odell and Margie Pittman Barrett. He was a supervisor at Greenwood Mills Textile.

Mr. Barrett is survived by his wife, Brenda Joyce Gunter Barrett of Danielsville; daughters, Marjorie Grizzle (Frank Jr.) of Danielsville, Elaine Barrett of Greenwood, SC, and Deborah Jones (Randy) of Nicholson; son, Robert S. Barrett (Cynthia) of Greenwood, SC; sisters, Sybil Beck of Nicholson and Rachel Roberts of Homer; brothers, Amory Barrett of Nicholson and Wilburn Barrett of SC; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, September 11 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Ivester officiating. Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6 to 8 PM.
