Henry Allen Puckett

Henry Allen Puckett, age 92, of Buford, GA, died Friday, September 6, 2013 after an extended illness.

Funeral service will be held at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 2-6 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his Daughters, Henrietta Pruitt and Barbara Stinchcomb, Gransdon, Thomas Puckett. He is survived by his wife, Delsie Puckett, Buford, GA, Sons and Daughters In-law, Tony and Susan Puckett, Portal, GA, Henry and Beverly Puckett, Fort Valley, GA. Brothers and Sisters In-law, Bona and Sue Puckett, Tucker, GA, William and Mary Puckett, Niceland, FL, Dr. Victor and Dorothy Puckett, Freehome, GA. 6 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Mr. Puckett was a lifelong resident of Buford and a member of New Bethany Baptist Church. He was a retired salesman with Maxwell Hitchcock and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Italy, Africa, and Greece.
