Gennie B. Bryant

Gennie B. Bryant, 91, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Bell Minor Nursing Home following an extended illness.


Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 9:30 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend Drewery Loggins officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ms. Bryant was born November 16, 1921 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Joseph and Gennie White Bryant. She worked in the textile industry for Chicopee Mill and was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters, Leonard Bryant, Glenn Bryant, Bertha Bryant, Ollie Peck, Glenn W. Bryant, and Lewis Bryant.

She is survived by her caregiver, Trent Peck of Gainesville.
