Mattie Gilleland

Funeral Services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Sunday September 1, 2013 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Mattie Gilleland age 89 of Gainesville. The Rev. Ralph O Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Gilleland passed away Friday August 30, 2013.

Mrs. Gilleland was born in Hall County to the late Evard G. Young and Gennie M. Young. She had worked for Southern Bell and was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband Oscar Selmon Gilleland, 3 Brothers and 1 Sister.
Survivors include Special Nephew Greg Young and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
