Marie Saine Millwood

Marie Saine Millwood, age 74 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. Reverend Dwayne Wellborn and Reverend Bobby Ivester will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.


Mrs. Millwood was born January 19, 1939 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Hubert Saine and Leone Ransom Saine. She was retired from J. C. Penney and was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Caroline Addlesburger.


Mrs. Millwood is survived by her husband, Millard Millwood of Gainesville, daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy & Ken Ivester of Flowery Branch and Misty & Steven Addlesburger of Flowery Branch, son & daughter-in-law, Tim & Vicky Millwood of Gainesville, grandchildren, Derek & Ansley Millwood, Jared Millwood, Caleb Millwood, Hannah Ivester, Gracie Ivester, John Issac Ivester, Olivia Addlesburger, Taylor Snelling Addlesburger and Danielle Snelling Addlesburger, sister, Colleen Griffith of Murrayville and sister & brother-in-law, Diane & George Baker of Lula.
