Linda Denise Puckett

Linda Denise Puckett, 48, of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2013, after suffering from an extended illness.



She was born on May 12, 1965, in Buford, Ga, where crowds gathered anxiously awaiting the birth of the "Puckett twins." Linda was the daughter of Larry Puckett and Doris Bailey, and the step-daughter of Larry Bailey and Martha Puckett.



Linda was a graduate of North Gwinnett High School c/o '83, and worked as an administrative assistant until her health prevented her from continuing her career. More importantly, Linda donated countless hours volunteering at her local animal shelter and spending time with the elderly at Ollie's Nursing Home.



Linda's impact was far-reaching as she served as the perfect example of overcoming tremendous obstacles with strength and grace. She will be remembered most for her tender, warm heart and limitless compassion for people and animals alike.



Her mother, Doris Bailey; step-father, Larry Bailey; step-mother, Martha Puckett; twin sister, Lisa Hill and brother-in-law David Hill; niece, Katie Eberhardt and nephew Eric Eberhardt; nephews Wyatt and David Bailey; niece Lillie Bailey; nephew, Michael Hill; step-sister, Rhonda Bailey; niece, Ashley Pierce; nephew, Keelan Bailey; Linda's "four-legged children" Pebbles and Sophie; and her lifelong "soulmate," Scott Dornbrock are left here to grieve her loss. Though her family and friends mourn, we are comforted in knowing that Linda's father, Larry Puckett; her younger brother, Michael Bailey; her grandparents; and a few other four-legged friends welcomed her at heaven's gates.



Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, August 29, 11:00 am to 8:30 pm and Friday, August 30, with funeral services following visitation on Friday. Services will be held in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, Ga. at 3:30 pm with Rev. Charles Pirkle Officiating.
