Robert A Clendinning

Robert A Clendinning passed away August 24, 2013 from the effects of Alzheimer's disease in Cumming GA. He was 81.

He was born and raised in Schenectady NY where he was active in Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Union College and went on to earn his PhD in Chemistry from Renesselaer Polytechnic Institute. He started his career with Union Carbide Corp while living in New Providence NJ where he started his family. After 30+ years he transferred to Georgia with then Amoco Performance Products settling in Cumming. In retirement he enjoyed the frustrations of chasing golf balls, travelling, and watching the Atlanta Braves.

He was predeceased by his first wife Ouida Ann Sappinton
