Marlie Shelby Eason

Mrs. Marlie Shelby Eason, age 79, of Hoschton, GA and formerly of North Augusta, SC passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-nine years, Earnest C. Eason; parents, Maurice Jake Shelby and Bessil Bell Teague; and brother, Dr. Maurice Shelby, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Denise Williams and Tim Wilkinson, Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Jessica Wilkinson and Ryan Wilkinson; step children, Shannon and Stephen Renn, Hoschton, GA and Tracy Eason, Georgiana, AL; and step grandson, Chad Eason, Cleveland, GA.

Mrs. Eason was born July 6, 1934 in LaFollette, TN. She was a retired dental hygienist and was former manager of Ben Massell Dental Clinic in Atlanta, GA for many years. She resided for the past thirty-two years in North Augusta, SC before moving to Buford, GA at Ivy Springs Assisted Living and The Oaks in Hoschton, GA. She had a passion for gourmet cooking and decorating and a love for animals.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville, TN with Dr. Don Olive officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local Humane Society or the American Cancer Society in memory of Marlie Eason.
