Homer G. Williamson

Homer Williamson, age 78 of Dahlonega, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Chestatee Regional Hospital following an extended illness.


Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Steve Williamson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Williamson was born January 25, 1935 in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Robert Williamson and Letha Lowe Williamson. He was retired from Georgia Boot and was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Grace Wilson Williamson and his sons, Bobby Williamson and Tommy Williamson.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy & Peri Williamson of Hoschton and Henry & Patsy Williamson of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Dell & Clay Beck of Gainesville, daughter, Margie Williamson of Blue Ridge, Georgia, number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
