Susan Lynn Said

Susan Lynn Said, age 47 of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Winter Haven Hospital following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Earl Pirkle will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.


Ms. Said was born September 30, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert B. Upchurch and Ella Mae Farr Upchurch. She was a homemaker and of the Muslim Faith.


Ms. Said is survived by her sons, Amin Said and Sammy Said, both of Maryland and her sisters, Barbara Crowe of Texas and Patricia Upchurch of Gainesville.
