Gerald 'Gerry' Douglas Mills,

Gerald "Gerry" Douglas Mills, 68 of Cumming, GA passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital in Johns Creek, GA. He was born in Baldwin County to the late O.L. "Skeet" and Velma Dunn Mills on April 6, 1944.

Gerry was an honor graduate of Baldwin County High School Class of 1962 where he excelled in tennis, basketball and baseball.

He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He received his MBA and Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia. He was a active member of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association.

Mr. Mills was a practicing attorney and a member of the Georgia Bar Association.

Gerry was an avid golfer at Lanier Golf Club and the Polo Fields in Cumming.

He is survived by his cousin, Eunice Ann Mills Tritt (Patrick) of Athens, GA and their son Andrew Tritt of Atlanta, GA. Gerry is survived by many lifelong friends.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, GA at 4:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 until service time.
