Charles William Hayes

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Charles William Hayes, 49, of Nicholson who passed away at his residence late Friday evening.

Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late James Harold, Sr. and Lora Booker Hayes and was married to Norma Lee Hayes of the residence. Other survivors include his children, Christopher Lee Hayes, David Raymond Hayes, Lora Ann Hayes, Megan Nicole Hayes and Rebecca Diane Hayes, all of Nicholson and Heather Lashae Hayes of Jefferson; brothers, Richard Eugene Hayes and James Harold Hayes, Jr., both of Arcade; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are scheduled for Monday at 2 PM from the Crooked Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Sorrow and Rev. Tom Miles officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2-6 PM.
