Harold Kemp

Mr. Harold Kemp, age 69, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Kemp. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Margaret "Tina Hutchins" Kemp, Buford, GA; children, Robby and Michelle Kemp, Braselton, GA and Felicia and Lou Butler, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Kai Kemp, Kayli Perkins, Jamie Sheppard and Heather Roper, Justin Sheppard; mother, Ruby Kemp, Buford, GA; brother, Larry Kemp, Tucker, GA; five great grandchildren, Brentley Perkins, Haley Kemp, Bayli Perkins, Tiana Gooch and Jay Sheppard.

Harold also had an extended family of nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own kids. Mr. Kemp was born October 22, 1943 in Atlanta. He was a 1961 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA, and "he was the first Mr. North Gwinnett." He was a retired auto body repairman, and "he had a love for old cars." He was also a sales representative for Sherwin Williams Co. and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Buford.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 3219 Bethlehem Church Road, Buford, GA with pastor Paul Garner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church Building Fund in memory of Harold Kemp.
