Hermon Branson Chitwood

Funeral services for Hermon Branson Chitwood, age 66, of Demorest will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 9, 2013 from the Mt. Vernon Holiness Church with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mr. Chitwood died Tuesday, August 6, 2013.

Born on January 8, 1947 in Habersham County, Mr. Chitwood was the son of the late Frank and Evie Miller Chitwood. Mr. Chitwood was retired from Clarkesville Mill and he was a member of Mt. Vernon Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife Evelyn Taylor Chitwood of Demorest, daughter Amy Chitwood of Demorest, son and daughter in law Greg and Kim Chitwood of Cleveland, sisters and brothers in law Janice and Jerry Maney of Turnerville and Kim and Greg Morris of Baldwin, grandchildren Randall, Cody, Owen, Asheley, Chantae, Shelby, and Reagan, and great grandchildren Madison, Chloe, Bailey, Augie, and Blair.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August, 8, 2013, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
