Mr. Steve Reed, 50 of Oakwood died Friday August 2, 2013 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Steve was employed at Burgamy Construction where he worked as a Team Leader. He had also worked for Avery Label and General Motors for a number of years. He was a graduate of Johnson High School class of 1981. Steve was a member of the Oakwood First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; Angie Reed; sons, Brett Reed and Cody Reed; daughter, Cali Reed; father, Hugh Reed; brothers and sisters-in-law; Tim & Sandra Reed; Cam & Sandra Reed; nephews and niece; Shannon and Laura Reed, Tyler and Brooke Reed; great nephew, Sawyer Reed, all of Oakwood.
Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Atkins Reed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday August 8, 2013 at the Oakwood First United Methodist Church. Rev. Glen Parish and Rev. Randall Reed will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday August 7, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
