William (Bill) Thomas Chandler

Funeral services are scheduled for William (Bill) Thomas Chandler, age 85 of Clermont at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church Wednesday August 7, 2013. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home Tuesday Aug. 6, 2013. Interment will be at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. John Moore and Rev. Kevin Woody will officiate. Mr. Chandler was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation, where he was a surveyer. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Woodall Chandler; great-grandson, Caden Smith; He is survived by daughter and son in-law, Dyann and Bob McGarry of Clermont, Ga.; Son and daughter in-law, Tom and Robin Chandler of Dawsonville, Ga.; Son and daughter in-law, John and Sandy Chandler of Clermont, Ga.; Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
