Edward Sokolowsky

Edward Sokolowsky, 74, of Cumming, GA died at Northside Hospital Forsyth on August 2, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of Felicia Sokolowsky of Duryea, PA and the late Michael Sokolowsky. His sister, Joan Weltz also predeceased him.

This amazing man had a passion for golf throughout his years and loved seeing people smile. He carried a great education and will be missed by his family that he loved so very much.

In addition to his mother, Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Adeline Sokolowsky of Cumming, GA; children, Raymond (Susan) Sokolowsky of Cumming, GA, Christine (Jay) Gregg of Woodstock, GA and Michael Sokolowsky of Cumming, GA; brother, Thomas (Kathleen) Sokolowsky of Jupiter, FL; and grandchildren, Lauren Sokolowsky, Lindsay Sokolowsky and Victoria Gregg.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (www.choa.org).
