Beth Crawford

Beth Crawford, age 65, of Cornelia, passed away Monday, August 05, 2013 at her residence.
Born on February 14, 1948, in Pulaski County, Georgia, she was the daughter of Annie Daniel Dawson of Hawkinsville, Georgia and the late Thomas Shelton Dawson, Jr. Mrs. Crawford was retired from Habersham County School System with 33 years of service as a 3rd grade teacher at Baldwin Elementary. She was a member of Cornelia First Presbyterian Church and served as church pianist for 37 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, hiking and bowling in her spare time.

In addition to her mother, survivors include husband, Mike Crawford of Cornelia; daughter, Cathy Crawford of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Charlotte Crawford of Cleveland; grandchildren, Chloe and Tommy Crawford; mother of grandchildren, Natalie Crawford of Mt. Airy; brothers, Thomas Shelton Dawson, III and Danny Dawson both of Hawkinsville, Georgia; step grandchildren, Alek Banks and Will Collier.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday August 07, 2013, at Cornelia First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Blaine Walker and Rev. James Oudom officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-9 pm on Tuesday.
