Vicki Heizer Drake

Mrs. Vicki Heizer Drake, age 61, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Friday, August 2, 2013.

She is survived by her husband of thirteen years, Bill Drake, Flowery Branch, GA; children, William Lamb, Atlanta, GA and Ted Lamb, Huntsville, AL; stepchildren, Michele Drake, Atlanta, GA, Jennifer and Jack Dunham, Sugar Hill, GA, Eric and Lisa Drake, Alpharetta, GA and Chris and Rita Drake, Springfield, MO; five grandchildren, Sabrina Drake, Chandler Drake, Olivia Dunham, Nate Dunham, and Angelina Drake; parents, Bill and Virginia Heizer, Huntsville, AL; and her dog, "Buddy."

Mrs. Drake was born March 7, 1952 in Lexington, KY and graduated from high school in Berlin, Germany. She received a Bachelor's degree from Jacksonville State and received her Doctorate degree from University of Georgia. She was a retired teacher from Berkmar High School in Lilburn, GA after ten years of service.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. John Roark officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Vicki Heizer Drake.
