Edna Merle Bruce

Mrs.Edna Merle Bruce age 76 of Commerce died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Bruce was born in Commerce to the late, Otis and Eula Mae Simmons Chambers. Mrs. Bruce retired from Barrow Manufacturing Company and was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bruce was also preceded in death by her husband, Pierce Bruce.

Mrs.Bruce is survived by her daughter, Karen Parson (Randy) of Commerce; three grandchildren; Allison and Ryan Gardiner, Wynonna and Rodney Studer, and James Avery Parson; three great grandchildren, Alexis Gardiner, Jaden Gardiner, and Dakota Studer.

Funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 2 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Manus officiating with the interment following at Grove Level Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from6-8 PM.
