Rebecca Lithgow Taylor, age 61 of Murrayville, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Martins Ford Road, Dahlonega. Reverend David Bost will officiate. Mrs. Taylor was born November 9, 1951 in North Charleroi, Pennsylvania to Ralph Edwin Lithgow and Mary Frances Belcher Lithgow Jackson. She was a retired Truck Driver and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Beccie was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Edwin, sister, Linda Ann Lithgow and brother, Daniel Stuart Lithgow. She was a longtime resident of North Georgia and a graduate of Toccoa Falls High School in 1969. Beccie loved our Lord and Savior and went to be with Him peacefully with joy in her heart. She loved life, her family and friends dearly. Beccie loved the verse John 16:33. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Steve Taylor of Murrayville, daughter, Marqui Lolly of Murrayville, granddaughters, Ashten Lolly and Jenna Leigh Lolly, both of Jacksonville, Florida, mother, Mary Frances Jackson of Florida and brothers, Ron Lithgow of Virginia, Paul Lithgow of Arizona and Dave Lithgow of Florida.
