Ray Cline Gazaway

Ray Cline Gazaway, age 82 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Tom Kenny will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.


Mr. Gazaway was born September 11, 1930 in Cumming, Georgia to the late Thomas Gazaway and Eula Mae Robertson Gazaway. He was retired from Tyson Foods and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty Hubbard Gazaway.


Mr. Gazaway is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, David & Joyce Gazaway of Gainesville, Daniel & Kim Gazaway of Woodstock, Georgia, daughter, Glenda Campbell of Gainesville, son, Donald Gazaway of Gainesville, brothers, Theo Gazaway and Marcus Gazaway, both of Cumming, 6 grandchildren, Stephanie Brock Krebs, Michael Gazaway, Jason Gazaway, Jesse Kohler, Bille Jo Kohler and Vincent Gazaway and 3 great-grandchildren.



Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
